Plastic clip collars use a lightweight plastic side-release buckle, which makes them easy to get on and off quickly — a good everyday choice for well-behaved dogs and for cats in our breakaway styles. Seatbelt webbing collars, like the Flying Mallards in our seatbelt construction, use the same rugged woven nylon found in actual automotive seatbelts, which means significantly more durability for strong pullers, chewers, or dogs who spend a lot of time outdoors.
